Ryan Smith

Ryan is the Director of Events & Engagement and founding member of The Amanda Foundation. As the Director of Events & Engagement, Ryan is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the foundation’s mission and event planning strategies throughout the state of Illinois. He also works to engage local community partners and volunteers in furthering the aid for post-treatment support programs.

Through his passions for sales and creativity, Ryan has made a professional impact by aiding those who as Midwest Sales Manager of a local telecommunications company Ryan has steered a team to helping
communities receive service that is outside the scope that larger service providers can provide. Over the past decade, Ryan has felt a great sense of accomplishment in helping these often-overlooked communities and it’s been the entrepreneurial and creative spirit that makes him want to do this for another decade.

Ryan has his master’s degree in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Illinois University. Ryan is also an active member in his community as a first-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He currently resides in Aurora, IL with his wife Christie, his two children, Evelyn and Shane, and dog Duke.
