Mandy's Story

In early 2017, Adam's sister, Mandy was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After undergoing several surgeries, Mandy became a candidate for a liver transplant. Adam became her living donor in June of 2020. This groundbreaking surgery was performed at the University of Chicago Medical Center. ​

Meanwhile, Adam felt compelled to make a positive impact in the community for those who also suffer from cancer and are undergoing cancer treatment. Mandy and Adam decided that since her career had been dedicated to working with children, there could be no greater living tribute to his sister then to celebrate her love for children by supporting programming that builds positive memories for children that also have to fight cancer.
